POWER LIFTGATE (PLG) FRONT SWITCH INSPECTION [(E)]

Note
•  For the power liftgate (PLG) front switch removal/installation, refer to the cluster switch removal/installation. (See CLUSTER SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(E)].)

2.  Remove the cluster switch. (See CLUSTER SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Verify that the continuity between the power liftgate (PLG) front switch terminals is as indicated in the table.

•  If not as indicated in the table, replace the cluster switch. (See CLUSTER SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Apply battery voltage to cluster switch terminal E, and connect terminal A to ground.

5.  Verify that the LED illuminates.

•  If there is any malfunction, replace the cluster switch. (See CLUSTER SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
