POWER LIFTGATE (PLG) DRIVE UNIT INSPECTION

LH

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(E)].)

2.  Remove the power liftgate (PLG) drive unit. (See POWER LIFTGATE (PLG) DRIVE UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Apply battery positive voltage and connect the ground to power liftgate (PLG) drive unit terminals G and H, and then inspect the power liftgate (PLG) drive unit operation.

•  If the power liftgate (PLG) drive unit does not operate as indicated in the table, replace it. (See POWER LIFTGATE (PLG) DRIVE UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
